Code Enforcement

The City of Willamina Code Enforcement works with local citizens and businesses to maintain compliance for health, beauty standards and safety. Our goal is to work with citizens to maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment for all in the City of Willamina.

The Code Compliance officer uses communication to better understand a situation before giving out citations. A person violating a city ordinance might receive notice to voluntarily fix and correct the situation within an agreed upon time frame. If the person does not comply within the time agreed on, the city will take appropriate action to resolve the situation. Enforcement could include Civil Penalty Citations plus abatement costs. The imposition of a Civil Penalty Citation will not relieve a responsible party of the duty to correct a violation.
